Overview

To befriend and mentor released prisoners in the community in the community for a duration of one year.  

Requirement: Minimum one year commitment, once a week. Able and willing to meet beneficiaries during weekdays, in the morning or afternoon. Need to visit beneficiaries before they are released and also meet them on the day of release. Only Singaporeans and PRs should apply. 

Note: Training as a befriender will be provided. All volunteers to be befrienders have to be approved by Singapore Prison Services
